“The Grace and Mercy of the Lord”

Romans 9:15; For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Greetings and Salutations my brethren! The Lord Jesus has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to us of His mercy and His grace. For all sinners are saved by grace through faith, and salvation is not of work lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 states; vs.8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: vs.9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. This precious gift of God is free for anyone and everyone who will receive this wonderful gift of salvation. Have you received this most precious of gifts? For the Lord is merciful, and He will save you from your sin if you will but repent of your sin today. The Lord Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him with a humble and contrite heart. He is waiting for you to come to Him and ask forgiveness for your sins, for He died for you on the cross of Calvary and rose on the third day so that you might be saved. The Lord Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him today so that He can bestow upon you the most precious gift of all, salvation.

In these last days, the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached to every creature. The Lord is calling those of us who might hear His gospel of peace to come to Him with a repentant and willing heart today. For today is the day of salvation! 2 Corinthians 6:2 states; (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Today is the day for us to come unto the Lord with a humble and contrite heart and ask forgiveness for our sins, and repent of them as well. If we will do this the Lord Jesus will come into our hearts, and set us free for our sin. He will write our names in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and we will be forever with Him. Will you receive the Lord Jesus into your hearts today?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to pay the price for our sin on the cross of Calvary. John 3:16-17 states; vs.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. vs.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. The Lord Jesus became sin for us on the cross that day, and He paid our sin debt, as only He could. We in all of our righteousness could not have done this, for our righteousness is as filthy rags. We could never have done enough good works to save ourselves from sin. We needed a Savior. We needed the Lord Jesus Christ to become the propitiation for our sin so that our relationship with the Father might be restored.

The Lord Jesus Christ is calling those of us who have not received Him into their hearts to surrender to Him and receive Him today. Romans 10:9 states; that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Come unto Him all of you who are burdened and heavy laden, for the Lord Jesus will give you rest! Matthew 11:28 states; Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Come unto Him today, and rest from your labour of sin. Give the Lord Jesus your heart today. For he loves you, and He will set you free for your sin if you would but ask.

And for those of you my brethren who have asked the Lord Jesus into your hearts but have fallen away from that loving relationship with Him, He is calling you back to the fold today. As a lost sheep, the Good Shepherd is seeking to save you. Come back to Him today, for no matter what sins may have you bound, the Lord Jesus Christ will forgive you of your sin and He will reestablish that relationship with Himself once again, if you would but repent of your sin today. Isaiah 53:6 states; All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Remember my brethren the parable of the prodigal son. The son had taken all of his inheritance and spent it on riotous living. The prodigal ended up living with the pigs in much filth and great hunger. While he was in his sin, he remembered his father, and how good he was to him, and his servants. The prodigal son came to himself and realized that he had sinned against his father, and heaven, and he made his way back to his father’s house. When the father saw the son walking down the road to his house, the father ran to his son, fell on his neck, embraced him, and showered him with all manner of blessings. If this is you, and you are as the prodigal son away from your heavenly Father, He is waiting for you with His open arms of love, mercy, and forgiveness. He will accept you and restore that which the moth and the cankerworm hath eaten. Humble yourselves and ask the Lord’s forgiveness today, for today is the day of salvation. For today is the day that the Lord Jesus will deliver you from the sins that have so easily best your life. He will set you free and give you newness of life. Come to the Lord today, for He truly loves you.
