2 Corinthians 10:4-5; vs.4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) vs.5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
My brethren, Greetings and Salutations in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. The Lord has given me a message of encouragement for those of us whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life, and are called kings and priests of our most holy Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brethren, we are in a warfare that is raging against our souls this very hour. For the enemy of our soul is walking to and fro as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 states; Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Brethren, we must fight the good fight of faith against our enemy fervently. We must use the weapons of our warfare which are; prayer, supplications, fasting, and the reading and studying of God’s holy word. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 states; vs.4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) vs.5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. vs.6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. We must also put on the whole armor of God, so that we may withstand the fiery darts of the wicked one in the hour of temptation. Ephesians 6:11-18 states; vs.11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. vs.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. vs.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. vs.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; vs.15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; vs.16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked. vs.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: vs.18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for the saints.
The Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we place all of our faith and trust, is the one who goes before us in all things, and it is ultimately He who will deliver us. Praise be to His holy name! Be encouraged my brethren, for the Lord’s arm is not short. For He is touched by our infirmities, and He is an ever-present help in times of trouble. Seek His holy face my brethren, with your whole hearts, minds, and souls, and pray without ceasing. For he is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. For when you have done all to stand, set your face like flint and trust in the Lord. For He will never leave you nor will He forsake you. He is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24; A man that has friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 states; Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. He is also our strong deliverer. Psalm 144:1-2 states; Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. Be encouraged my brethren, for no matter what fiery darts of doubt from the enemy come your way, your strong deliverer (Jesus) will go before you. He will cause you to be victorious in every spiritual battle if you will but stand firm in your faith, and put on the whole armour of God. For He has already won the victory over the devil. Jesus has taken captivity captive, and He has overcome death, hell, and the grave. Revelation 1:18 states; I am he that liveth and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death. Take heart my brethren for the Lord will provide a way where there seems to be none. He will deliver us from all evil, and gives us the victory over evil as well. Psalms 23:4 states; Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Brethren, we are called to pray without ceasing and seek the holy face of the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 states; Pray without ceasing. We are also to confess our faults one to another, and pray for one another as well. For the prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16 states; Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. We are called to pray in the Spirit, and seek the holy will of our Lord. Ephesians 6:18 states; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Just as Jesus told the Apostle Peter, I will tell you; the enemy of our soul wants to have us so that he may sift us as wheat. Do not be alarmed my brethren. For the Lord Jesus goes before us in all things, and He will deliver us from every snare of the devil. Luke 22:32-32 states; vs.32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat: vs.33 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Rejoice and again I say rejoice my brethren, for whom the Lord sets free, he is free indeed! We as children of the Most High God are set free by the precious blood of the Lamb. We are free from the sins of our past, and we are delivered from the hands of the enemy, in the name of Jesus and in His name alone. Praise be to the holy Lamb of God! John 8:36 States; If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Be encouraged my brethren for the Lord Jesus has already won the battle. Our enemy is a defeated foe, for he will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone at the end of the age. Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain from the foundation of the earth! Revelation 21:10 states; And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Hallelujah! Remember brethren, when the enemy attacks your mind, stand against him in prayer and supplication before the Lord. For remember, the weapons of our warfare are mighty! Seek the face of the Lord during these times of attack, and the Lord will deliver you! In His Jesus name, demons flee. The lame will walk, and the blind will see. All we need is to have faith as the size of a grain of mustard seed to move any mountain that would hinder our walk with the Lord. Exercise your faith my brethren, and call upon the mighty name of Jesus, for He will answer you in due time. Matthew 17:20 states; And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Praise God! When the enemy comes in like a flood, in Jesus name, plead His precious blood. The Lord will raise up a standard against him, and the flood waters will recede, and the enemy’s attacks will be stopped. Restoration is yours my brethren, step out in faith and take it! Isaiah 59:19 states; So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising sun. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Rebuke the devil in Jesus name, just as Jesus did when He was fasting forty days in the wilderness. When Jesus rebuked Satan, he fled from the face of the Lord was refreshed and restored by the ministry of angels. Matthew 4:10-11 states; vs.10 Then Jesus saith unto him, Get thee hence Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thous serve. vs.11 Then the devil leaveth him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.
Again, be encouraged my brethren! For we are indeed set free by the precious blood of the Lamb. Jesus is our ever-present hope in times of trouble, and He is again a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Jesus will never leave us nor will He forsake us. Hebrews 13:5-6 states; vs.5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. vs.6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Be bold in the faith my brethren, and remember that the Lord is our helper, and our mighty deliverer. He goes before us in all things, and He will help us and make the crooked paths straight. Serve Him with your whole hearts, minds, and souls my brethren. For in these last days the warfare will intensify. We must be girded in the Lord and in the power of His might. Do not put your trust in yourselves. Put your faith and trust in Jesus, and in the finished work of the cross. For remember brethren that Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. No man can pluck us out of His mighty hand, and He will complete the work that He has started in us, for this is promise to all of us who are His chosen, and precious children. John 10:28-30 states; vs.28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. vs.29 My Father which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. vs.30 I and my Father are one.
Remember brethren that Jesus is the potter and we are the clay. The work that He has begun in us will be brought to completion in the bond of perfection on that day. Take heart and remember that God is in control! Be patient and He will finish that perfect work in you in due course of time. James 1:4 states; But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. Amen!
